I’m all about casual elegance lately. Because, let’s be honest. As much as I love dressing up, I think I love my chill clothes even more. Lucky for me, the fashion word is still seriously obsessing over athleisure and it looks like the trend is here to stay… for good! That’s why today’s blog post is about this casual and chic look that pairs track pants with such staple items like a denim jacket and bodysuit.
Track pants are continuing to have a major moment so if you’ve been longing to ditch the sometimes highly uncomfortable skinny jeans, now is the perfect time to do it. And what’s the best part of track pants? They can easily fit in at the office with a little skillful styling and you can easily transition from a date look to night time look just by simply pairing them with heels.
I got mine here and I really love the red clay color and camel accents. While they still have a signature tack pants stripes, the fit is elevated by a wide leg silhouette and side slits so they look more flattering and they elongate the legs. A drawstring waist, on the other hand, aids in a sporty tone. In order to accentuate the waist, I wore this bodysuit because I wanted that tucked in look. Plus, I really think that the bodysuit is at its best when its balanced with something less fitted like track pants.
Lastly, I picked up this denim jacket (it’s sold out in a few sizes but you can get almost identical here or similar here) and these super low-heeled sandals similar to this one (comfort first, ladies!) to complement the entire look. And I added some gold details like my fave sunnies and these cute hoops. I hope you like this look and thanks for stopping by!
