It has been a couple of frosty days out here on the East Coast. But I won’t let icy temps and a little snow stand in the way of a good outfit! 🙂 I refuse to wear oversized sweaters and wool pants all winter long so today’s look is super sleek and chic and I hope that it will inspire you to layer up in style.

I recently got this zip detail faux leather skirt from Shein and I immediately thought it would work just perfect with my poloneck sweater that I bought at the beginning of the winter season (similar and more affordable option here). Its cropped length and long arms make such a great pairing with the skirt and I like it’s red accents at the forearms. I love quilted puffer coasts for winter so I wore one in mid-length and lucky for you a similar one is just on sale (more options here and here). My black tights are from Berkshire and my mid-calf boots are on sale right now. To top off an almost all-black look, I decided to add a few fun winter accessories like these leopard print gloves and a pom pom baseball cap like this one or this one.
