My Holiday Makeup Looks

Holidays are just around the corner and it’s the most wonderful time of the year to go bold and glam up your makeup routine. I’ve created two inspiration looks to help you get into the holiday spirit and experiment with your own holiday makeup looks. So keep on reading and watching!

When it comes to holiday makeup, two things are always timeless and classic: a winged eyeliner and red lip.

Holiday-Makeup-Look-1

I created this look using products from Kylie Cosmetics Holiday Collection. Love her or hate her, you have to admit it that Kylie nailed it this season! It’s by far her biggest product drop yet and every product in her collection contains “real diamond powder” and is packaged in all-silver tubes and boxes tied up with a white bow. Her lip kits and glosses are like Christmas ornaments that you can stick right on your Christmas tree. I used her Kyshadow Holiday Palette for eyes (colors everygreen and gingerbread) and Merry Lip Kit. For a winged eye, I used Too Faced Scetch Marker Liquid Eyeliner. I complemented this look with Lilly Lashes in style Miami.

If you love being the life of the holiday party, go full out with a metallic lip, shimmery eye shadow and statement lashes. For lips, I used Kylie Cosmetics Dancer Metal lipstick. To create shine on my eyelids, I used Butter London’s Glazen Eye Gloss in Spark. I’m absolutely obsessed with this product and its texture. It has a long-wearing, crease-resistant formula which is super buildable and delivers a “wet look” shine without being wet. And it keeps the sparkle from budging for hours. Plus, its champagne color is just everything!! For crease, I used colors from Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. I love this palette because it is very versatile and you can create virtually any look with it. The quality of the eyedashows is also amazing. To add definition and statement to this look, I lined the eye with Too Faced Scetch Marker Liquid Eyeliner and applied Huda Beauty’s lashes in style ScarlettI did a quick video tutorial for you on how I achieved this holiday makeup look so you can watch it below and try to recreate this look.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and that it will inspire you to create something fun and festive this holiday season!

Kat

  1. Omg, the Butter London Eye Gloss is exactly the kind of product I’ve been looking for! You’re right, it IS everything. Thanks for turning me onto it. Question for you if you don’t mind… what type of primer do you use? I am a little concerned about glitter/sparkle fallout especially with that Gloss. Would you recommend maybe using something like Too Faced Glitter Glue, or do you find that a “regular” eyeshadow primer does the trick? Thanks in advance! As usual, your videos/blogs are super informative and enjoyable 🙂 Xx ~Ariel

    1. Hi Ariel! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Excited to hear that I hooked you up on the Butter London Gloss! You will love it. To answer your question, you don’t actually need any special primer for this product because it has a pudding-like texture (unlike glitter) that applies like a gel so there is no fallout. You can literally use your fingers to apply it. Let me know if you have any other questions. Xoxo
