Summer is in full glory and while it is the perfect time to flaunt beautiful summer dresses and enjoy gorgeous weather, summer also requires you to pay special attention to your beauty game. I wanted to share with you some of my recent beauty finds and makeup must-haves that I’ve been using recently and that are just perfect for summer. After all, we all want to have the sexiest skin ever and proudly rock those bare bodies!

MAKEUP:

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In a Palette – you already know from my Dolce Vita Makeup Tutorial that I’m a big fan of all things Charlotte Tilbury. This palette is virtually all you need to accomplish that perfect bronze goddess status in just a few minutes or on the go. It features beautiful champagne, pink & nude shades that complement everyone and I really like to use it on my brides as well. It’s also very portable so you can easily pack it in your makeup bag when traveling.

Pixi by Petra Sheer Cheek Gel – summer makeup is all about that natural flushed complexion and I always turn to cream or gel blush formulas instead of powder to add color to my cheeks. These formulas actually look better as you sweat and they melt perfectly into the skin, giving that perfect dewy glow. They are also super lightweight and mimic the natural texture of the skin. I’ve been really loving color Rosy from the Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel collection as it gives that healthy natural looking flush look to my cheeks. And instead of trying to sweat-proof my makeup, I’ve just learned to work with my skin and embrace my sweaty self 😉

COOLA products – if you’re looking for products that will both protect your skin against the sun and enhance your natural beauty, look no further. Artnaturals Makeup Wipes – I always keep these wipes in my makeup bag if I want to refresh my face and remove any oil, dirt and residue. They are great for summer because they also remove waterproof mascara.

HAIR:

invisibobble – my recent discovery in the hair accessory department which I love using when doing a bun. This traceless hair ring doesn’t pull or tug at hair and doesn’t leave any dents in hair. Plus, it provides a firm grip (but no headaches!) and it does not soak so it’s great when you plan to take a deep dive in the pool.

Renpure 100% Organic Coconut Oil – this coconut oil has so many beauty uses that I could write an entire blog post on that 🙂 but I especially like to use it in summer to repair damaged, brittle hair strands and split ends.  FACE AND BODY:

Vita Liberata Super Fine Skin Polish and Phenomenal 2-3 Week Tan Mousse  – I’m obsessed with Vita Liberata’s products just as much I’m with Charlotte Tilbury’s. They are simply LUXURIOUS and they work so well. The skin polish and the tan mousse are my go to products for a perfect sunless tan. The first step to achieving a flawless tan is exfoliating so I always use the polish to remove any dead skin cells and scrub the skin thoroughly and then I follow with the mousse and a tanning mitt and using circular motions, I distribute the product evenly, using it sparingly on hands, feet, knees and elbows.

STARSKIN Eye Catcher Smoothing Bio-Cellulose Eye Mask – this summer, give your eyes some extra care too. I like using this eye mask to instantly make my eyes appear brighter, more radiant and rejuvenated.
