What I like about fall the most is the spectacular show of fall foliage with vibrant displays of gold, scarlet, warm browns and orange. No wonder that today’s outfit look on the blog is inspired by fall colors then! 😉
Up until this week, the fall in New York felt more like summer and the temps have been in the upper 60’s and 70’s most of the time. But I’m NOT complaining because the weather has been so good and I love higher temps!
I shot this look during the golden hour and I absolutely love how the pictures came out as you can see and almost feel the spirit of fall with the golden aura around it. On that day, I wore this super lightweight and comfy mini skirt with corduroy details and warm brown color. I like that it has a high-waist fit so you can tuck in a sweater, which elongates your legs at the same time. I also really like this corduroy mini skirt as it features a cute buttoned front.
I paired the skirt with a classic turtleneck long sleeve like this one or this one for a simple and effortless fall look that still makes a statement. My mid-calf booties are the ones that you see me wearing a lot (similar here or here). I absolutely love the mid-calf style!
While it still gets warm during the day, you can feel the chill in the air when sun begins to set so I put on this cozy Cheetah faux-fur from Julie Brown Designs (I wear mine in size P which is still available but some sizes are already sold out..) but you can get similar one like this one, this one (very affordable option!) or this one. I love how this coat spices up the entire look.
For my details, I wore these beautiful triangle drop earrings from Gorjana – they go absolutely amazing with any kind of sweaters – and Klasse14 magenta watch (you can use my code “bykatiness” to get a 12% off discount.) My bag is from Rebecca Minkoff and you can get similar one here or here in black.
I hope you like this look and thanks for stopping by!
